VSTA Awards
The Victorian Square Trotters Association conducts its awards night to celebrate the success of the trotter. Awards are calculated under various criteria.
To be eligible for our awards you must be a current financial member of the Victorian Square Trotters Association (VSTA)
Individual owners of horses must be current members of the VSTA.
For partnerships of 2 or more owners, at least 2 individual owners must be current members of the VSTA.
Criteria for the VSTA Awards
Awards for all the racehorses are for Victorian trained horse performances throughout Australia at all TAB meetings.
Points are awarded 5 for first, 2 for second, 1 for third
Awards for Sire, Broodmare and Breeder are based upon individual winners of Victorian based Sire, Broodmare and Breeder for progeny winning throughout Australia
VSTA Bonus Race Conditions
To be eligible for VSTA bonus races, the following conditions apply:-
VSTA Owners' Bonus
Individual owners of horses must be current financial members of the VSTA.
For partnerships of 2 or more owners, at least 2 individual owners must be current members of the VSTA.
Owners' Bonus payments will be made to the first-named current member of the partnership.
VSTA Trainer and Drivers Bonus
For a trainer and/or driver to be eligible for a VSTA bonus, they must be current financial members of the VSTA.
*In situations where a dead heat occurs, the bonus will be equally divided.
